NEW! Division of Theoretical Physics invites applications for a postdoc position in theoretical and mathematical physics, within the project “Generalized geometry and symmetries”. The appointment will be made for 2 years and anticipated starting date is September 1st, 2017.

Applicants should send a cover letter, a curriculum vitae including list of publications, a brief statement of future research interests, copy of PhD diploma and arrange to have three letters of recommendation sent to larisa at before May 12th, 2017. For additional info contact Larisa Jonke.

We announce the workshop on Recent Advances in T/U-dualities and Generalized Geometries which we organize in Zagreb, 6-9 June 2017.

The workshop aims at bringing together experts in theoretical and mathematical physics, working on diverse aspects of dualities originating in string theory and their relations to generalized geometry. For more info visit the workshop web page.

As a part of RBI-T-WINNING project we are organising First Zagreb School on Theoretical Physics. We planned two-week programme specially designed for graduate students from June 26th till July 7th; the first week of the school is devoted to Particle Phenomenology and Cosmology, while the second week focuses on Mathematical Physics and Condensed Matter. For more info visit the school web page.

RBI-T-WINNING project is a Coordination and Support measure funded by the European Commission under H2020. It provides funding to support existing research activity like support for travel, initiation of collaborations, organization of events and lectures, and exchanges of best practices with excellent institutions. Intensive exchange of knowledge and experience will be organized with SISSA, CNRS/University of Paris-Sud Orsay, Ludwig Maximilian University and Niels Bohr Institute, excellent European institutes and altogether cover the investigations within theoretical physics. This three year long project started with kick-off meeting on February 4-5, 2016.
